In July 2006, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to present a poster of our research at the Gordon Conference for Marine Microbes at the University of New England. I would like to extend a special thanks to the organizers of the event, Drs. Alexandra Worden and Dave Caron, for their generous financial assistance in helping pay for my husband's trip so he could come and look after our infant daughter while I attended the conference.
